Fantastic Tour Start in Athen, Greece 10/18/2012

Greek fans decided to have a good time and skipped the demonstrations in Athens, Greece - instead they had a metal party with ACCEPT! A packed house and a wild audience were singing so loud that they lifted the roof of the great Fuzz Club and are still singing on their way home. Just a few minutes ago - a mesmerizing performance of  the band made every body so very happy."the best show in my life" and "Athens loves accept!"....a fan sent out on is iphone...What a night and what a wonderful start of the second part of Stalingrad Tour 2012. The Wolfsblut Notes: The birth of the Official ACCEPT Wine.

A true marriage of great wine meeting great metal. This project was actually talked about last year at the famous Rainbow Bar and Grill in Los Angeles on the Sunset Strip. How Rock ‘N Roll is that?

When I met with the band I was bombarded with the places that they have traveled to. The different foods that they experienced and the beverages that comforted them on the road. We all decided that this wine project does not replace the concert t-shirt. This is a true wine experience and will not disappoint those whom love wine already. Accept never does anything short, especially if it is a product that is offered to the fans. So therefore, the fruit for Wolfsblut comes from the world famous, Napa Valley. 

The hillside vineyards for this wine are sustainably farmed. The barrel aging process is 100% French oak. Like I said, no short cuts.This is a wonderful food wine that would go well with any of any of your pasta dishes but feel free to challenge it with a thick, medium-rare steak. Most important of all this wine, with it’s layers of blueberry, cherry and vanilla can easily be enjoyed by itself. 

Pop the cork and be prepared to howl at the moon!

Kreator and Accept announce Teutonic Terror Attack Tour 2012

Two dynamic German forces have merged to co-headline a North American Teutonic Terror Attack in the most high-powered touring bill of 2012: KREATOR and ACCEPT.

Opening the 23-show trek through the U.S. and Canada will be Finland’s Swallow The Sun. The follow-up to 2009’s Hordes Of Chaos, KREATOR’s new album, Phantom Antichrist, is slated for North American release on June 5th. In April, Stalingrad – ACCEPT’s follow-up to their 2010 comeback album, Blood Of The Nations – rode the tsunami of their resurgence to a Billboard Top 200 debut at #81.

Accept's Stalingrad debuts at #81 on the Billboard Top 200!

Fueled by their whiplash-inducing comeback in 2010, ACCEPT’s Stalingrad rode the tsunami of their resurgence to land in the Billboard Top 200 for a chart debut at #81!!! Stalingrad is also #13 in the Top Independent Current Albums chart, #76 in the Top Current Albums chart, #7 in the Top Hard Music Albums chart, #7 in the Current Hard Music Albums chart and #29 in the Top Current Rock Albums chart.

In Germany, the band repeated their Top 10 appearance by debuting at #6 on the German Media Control chart. In Europe, Stalingrad debuted at #17 in Switzerland, #32 in Austria, #25 in the Czech Republic, and #50 in France!

ACCEPT unveil first track from their new album ‘Stalingrad’

ACCEPT have achieved what few had predicted! With ‘Blood of the Nations’, they returned to the pantheon of heavy metal after a lengthy absence with a remarkable album. ‘Blood of the Nations” was a triumphant achievement that couldn’t have been any more successful or better received by fans and media alike. “Blood of the Nations” had eclipsed all expectations, being named Album of the Year in over 50 international “Best Of” lists and charted world wide higher than any previous ACCEPT release.

We are now in February 2012. The long running rumors that ACCEPT had started work on a new record last fall turned out to be true. It has been a few weeks since ACCEPT indeed announced the completion of their new album with the title ‘Stalingrad’. And today, on Tuesday, February 28th,ACCEPT will officially unveil the first track as a teaser for their new masterpiece. At 10:00 o’clock, the title track to ‘Stalingrad’ will be available on ACCEPT’s YouTube channel in its entirety.

‘Stalingrad’, the album, will be released in early April. It is already being hailed as the absolute prefect follow-up tot he record-breaking ‚Blood oft he Nations’. The first reviews from the German media are starting to hit the presses hard and fast:

It’s always quiet just before the storm!!!! ACCEPT’s fifteen year break from the music business only served as a distant warning to the 2010 thunderous return of ACCEPT to the metal forefront. Sweat soaked, table-sized club shows and triumphant appearances at the biggest rock festivals around the world created an excitement long not seen in the metal community. It was only natural that ACCEPT’s comeback album Blood Of The Nations entered the charts at #4, the band’s highest entry in their legendary career! In addition, Blood Of The Nations charted high in countless other countries and cemented itself at #1 in many Reader Polls for a continuous 14 months! Accolades like “Album of the Year”, “Metal Anthem of the Year” and many more kept pouring in. The fans, in admiration of their heroes, flocked in the thousands to their notorious live shows, and Nuclear Blast, their record company, was salivating with satisfaction!

The band is currently writing material for its new LP, which will be released in the spring of 2012 and will once again be helmed by British producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY).
